BERMUDA 5 days

Bermuda (capital is Hamilton) is a small island in the North Atlantic Ocean known for its pink-sand beaches such as Elbow Beach and Horseshoe Bay. The island has a distinctive blend of British and American culture. English is the official language, but some Portuguese is also spoken. Bermuda has a predominantly market economy based on tourism and international finance.

The island has a subtropical climate and thus is prone to related severe weather; however, it is somewhat protected by a coral reef that surrounds the island which limits the severity of approaching storms. Bermuda on average, may experience a damaging tropical cyclone once every six to seven years. Due to the small area of the island, landfalls and direct hits are rare. A study of recorded storms from 1906 to 2006 found that hurricanes threats were most common from early September to late October.
